After resolving the name of the ISATAP server, the ISATAP server is able to provide the client an IPv6 prefix (similar to a network ID in IPv4), and the host ID is based on the IPv4 address of the client. In a Windows DNS server environment, you may need to unblock queries for ISATAP, as they are blocked by default in Windows Server 2008 and Windows Server 2008 R2 (and later versions of Windows 2003).
